Getting Started With Unreal Engine
This guide will walk you through how to get started using AccelByte Gaming Services (AGS) Starter’s services in your game. Before you begin, make sure you have installed our AccelByte Foundations’ Unreal Engine SDK. The SDK acts as a bridge between your game and our services.Download Unreal Engine SDK
Follow the steps below to get started using our services using the AGS Starter Unreal Engine SDK.
Create a Game Title in the Admin Portal.
Download the configuration file for Unreal Engine (default engine.ini) in the Admin Portal.
Follow the tutorial to configure the AGS Starter Unreal Engine SDK.
Implement authentication using IAM login.
Integrate the Lobby service, which acts as the main hub where players join sessions and await matchmaking with other players.
Integrate the Friends service so your players can add each other as friends in your game.
Integrate the Party service so players can form temporary alliances in a multiplayer game.
